Yonsei University - Seoul, South Korea
4 weeks, end of June thru July
The International Summer Program at Yonsei University offers University of Alabama students a unique opportunity to learn about Korean and Asian culture as well as international business. Established within the International Education Division of Yonsei University, the international summer program was established to provide study opportunities for students who desire to receive instruction in English. Students qualified in the Korean language may also, with permission, select courses taught in Korean. Yonsei, the oldest university in South Korea, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1985. It has a large, quiet, and well-wooded campus in the middle of Seoul, a city of 12 million, only 20 minutes away from the center of government, business, and culture. Semester and year-long programs within the International Education Division are also available to qualified University of Alabama students on a reciprocal student exchange basis. All faculty members teaching in the International Education Division are fluent in English and many hold degrees from U.S. institutions.
