International Coffee Hour

Throughout the academic year (August through May), Capstone International Center (CIC) hosts a weekly event, Capstone International Coffee Hour.

All international and American students, scholars, faculty and staff are welcome to join.

Capstone International Coffee Hour is held on each Friday during fall and spring semesters, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Room 121 B.B. Comer Hall.  Come and enjoy free coffee, tea, snacks, and conversation with our friends from around the world.

Success and Growth in the U.S.

In coordination with The Counseling Center and International Student & Scholar Services, Success and Growth in the U.S. is a workshop for international students led by Dr. Nahree Doh.

Begun in Fall 2014, Success and Growth in the U.S. is a 10-week workshop designed to facilitate international students’ adjustment, academic success and personal growth.  The program is run as a closed group of 8 – 10 members.  Members have opportunities to explore and share experiences, discuss different topics, engage in various group activities, and learn useful strategies.

This program will continue into future academic semesters.  Questions about the program can be directed to; please include “Dr. Doh” in the subject line.
