Capstone International

Resource Center

Visit the capstone international center to learn more about opportunities for overseas travel, work, and study!

For instance, did you know--

That the tuition you will pay for your semester or summer abroad with one of our sister exchange programs is exactly the same as that you would pay here at The University of Alabama?
That programs may range from as little as two weeks to as long as 16 weeks?
That programs exist for a single individual, a group as small as 6 or as large as 30?
That you can come in with your own program ideas.

The Overseas Study Resource Center is located within the Capstone International Center at 135 BB Comer Hall. This is the ideal starting point for you to begin learning what The University of Alabama offers in terms of year-round Overseas Study (Fall & Spring semesters, short-term interim, short-term summer programs). The Center also contains materials regarding what other institutions and organizations have available in terms of working, teaching, studying, and volunteering abroad.

Once you have visited the Resource Center and think that you have an idea of what you would like to do, please make an appointment to speak with one of our Overseas Study Coordinators to discuss if this is the right choice for you. If you are totally open regarding your overseas study, you might want to begin by making an appointment with a counselor first and visiting the Center afterwards. Appointments are not necessary to visit the Resource Center; please drop in any day Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. To see a counselor, you may make an appointment by calling the Capstone International Center at 348-5256 or dropping by 135 BB Comer
