Internationalization & Outreach

Comprehensive internationalization aligns and integrates UA policies, programs, and initiatives to position UA as a more globally-oriented and internationally connected institution.  Internationalization provides students, faculty, and staff with opportunities to collaborate across borders, languages, and cultures and to succeed in the globalized and ever-evolving world of the twenty-first century.

Please explore some of our internationalization efforts below.

The Capstone International Center strives to serve The University of Alabama, and in collaboration with all its units, to help advance the University to even higher levels of achievement in the international arena. In addition to the international arena, the CIC works to involve the local community in outreach projects. These projects are meant to internationalize the UA campus as well as Tuscaloosa.
